K9 Kooling Coat
K9 Kooling Coat
Protect your dog from the sun! These K9 Kool Coats are made from the same Oasis fabric used in turnouts for horses. The Oasis fabric is a 100% polyester mesh that offers superior durability while at the same time being soft, breatheable, and coat friendly. It is an extremely reflective fabric that offers UV-protection (blocking both UVA and UVB radiation) so it will help keep your dog cool even when the coat is dry. Made in the USA.
For additional cooling, submerge the Kooling Coat in cool water prior to use. If it dries out, refresh it with just a spray of water. Unlike other fabrics used for cool coats, Oasis does not become oversaturated and heavy. If needed, a fan blowing over the coat increases the cooling power dramatically. However please monitor your dog as he/she could actually become too cool. Easy to use and maintain. Machine wash cool, line dry. Coats are white with colored trim; please choose trim color from the dropdown menu.
K9 Kool Coat features adjustable front buckle closure, adjustable/removable belly band, and contouring pleats to ensure a close fit.
Sizes 8-18 Have a straight bellyband, 20+ have a pleated bellyband to allow for deeper chests.
Embroidery is an additional $10.00 Choose from any of the available font styles. Letters will be 1" in height. Pick the location you desire from the drop down menu. Thread color will match trim color unless you specify a different color desired in the comments section on checkout. Be sure to type the letters as you would like them to read. The order you type them in is the order they will be sewn out. There is a limit of 12 characters.
The Kool Coats can be ordered by the back length measurement (from the base of the neck to the base of the tail). If your dog falls in-between sizes round up.
Q:How do I measure my dog?
A: If your dog stands quietly, you can measure it by yourself; if not, you may wish to ask for someone's help to perform the following: Using a tape measure, start at the base of the dogs neck and measure to the base of the tail. You also want to measure around the dog's neck like a collar. The last measurement you will need is his girth measurement. You want to wrap your tape measure around the widest part of the dog's stomach.
